About me:
Pianos became my passion at age 7, when my mother started me on piano lessons. I quickly fell in love with playing, and would spend hours daily at the family piano. We lived in a rural area where piano tuners were scarce, and I longed to be able to tune and repair our dysfunctional piano. Hence, the dream was born to become a piano technician. Since then, I have had the privilege of apprenticing under several professional technicians and have been growing my own piano service business in the Atlanta area for the past several years. I love bringing music into other people’s lives, and my own life is in turn greatly enriched!

My piano had not been tuned for 7 years. We had moved and parts became missing. I became very annoyed at the piano’s condition & went in search of a technician. An appointment was made & Tim came to my house to tune the piano. Upon examining it he discovered it was just more than tuning. A piece from the pedal was broken & it also needed cleaning. So he did not just tune it, but he also repaired & cleaned it. In addition, the piano stool hinges were broken & without even telling him he discovered it & fixed it for me. On top of that I had to go back to work & I left Tim to complete the job without supervision & he took his time to ensure that all that was needed to bring the piano playing like brand new was done. I couldn’t wait to get home to play & hear it for myself. I am so happy & would not hesitate to recommend Tim to anyone. Very honest, sincere, & true to what he does. That is Tim. Perfect pitch! I live in a fairly remote location, so finding someone to come all the way out here is a feat unto itself. Tim didn’t hesitate accepting the job, and he was right on time! He spent 2.5 hours expertly tuning & cleaning my piano. He was very personable & knowledgeable - and quite a talented pianist to boot! One of my favorite parts of getting the piano tuned is hearing the pianist exercise the instrument. Tim did not disappoint! So talented, and the instrument played beautifully! I have added him to my Rolodex and will be calling him back next year when it’s time for it’s annual tuning.
